Opened in 2024, Mend Coffee & Goods was designed as a neighborhood gathering place where accessibility and hospitality are seamlessly intertwined. A soothing color palette and soft textiles creates an atmosphere of calm and warmth. Custom oak tables adjust in height to accommodate wheelchair users, and an inset coffee bar allows every guest to engage with ease and comfort. In the private meeting room, sound-absorbing finishes and a circular table foster conversation and connection. The restroom, designed with dignity and practicality in mind, features an adult-sized adjustable changing table, dimmable lighting, and cleanable materials that feel welcoming rather than clinical. Intentionally selected artworks and custom designed wallpaper were inspired by a message of hope that holds personal meaning for the owners. The space reflects a commitment to Southern hospitality where thoughtful design creates a sense of belonging for everyone.
